Friends of Grinshill

Who are they ? They are people concerned about the welfare of abandoned and neglected cats and dogs.

They can help in many ways. Local people can become regular dog walkers or help to raise funds, participate in our 'table top' sales in Wem or Shrewsbury.

Others who wish to help can donate a small monthly sum as running the rescue centre costs approximately £40,000 per year. Every penny donated is used for food, veterinary bills and maintenance of the kennels and cattery.

They can also help by donating a prize for the raffles drawn at our various fund-raising events.

As we are a family-run rescue centre, we rely entirely on voluntary contributions to continue to rescue, care for and re-home animals in Shropshire. The kennels are licensed by North Shropshire District Council, No. 98/00150/ANIBOR.
