Development Process
Briefly, the development of your web site takes place in several stages:-
Initial Consultation
This is the first stage of the process. This is where your requirements and aspirations for the site are noted. The site purpose, the site style, the target audience, etc. will be discussed at this stage and ideas and recommendations will be aired. It is important that this becomes a two way process, after all, it is your site. Any existing advertising literature, company Logo etc to be utilised on the site should be supplied at this stage. Your requirements for a domain name would also be addressed. (See Domain Names)
First Draft
An initial draft of your web site combining your requirements and our ideas would be made. You would then be consulted about the site and any alterations or additions made as required. Once again we would emphasize that this is your site.
Further Site Construction and Testing
Following on from the previous stages we would undertake site construction and testing. Mailing addresses, scripting, animations etc. would be thoroughly checked to ensure that your site not only looks good but also performs well.
Publication
We are now reaching the exciting stage namely, publication. We would arrange for your site to be up-loaded to the WWW under your own domain name. Again the site would be thoroughly checked over and again you would be consulted.
Search Engine Submission
This is probably the most important stage of all! Your new web site is up and running but as yet no-one really knows it's there. We will therefore arrange for submission of your site to many of the major engines - that way people WILL know you are there! Re-submission will be undertaken on a regular basis to ensure you remain well publicised.
Routine Maintenance and Updating
There we are, you've paid your money, your site is up on the Internet, it's been submitted to the search engines - you're on your own - right? Wrong!! We will consult you on a regular basis and ensure your site continues to operate correctly and efficiently.
